Los Milagros (The Miracles)

This painting was created while I stood in the Plaza Principal in San Miguel de Allende, MX listening to violin being played live by David Mendoza at the restaurant Los Milagros. David's transcendent music had set my soul afire for several weeks and I had to find a way to translate my experience of it using paint. Painting "live" in public view drew a crowd of schoolchildren to watch. Heavenly!
