"Early Morning Main Street"

One of the most popular morning spots in Frankfort, Michigan is The Crescent Bakery on Main St. I painted this over a 4 day period with the regulars from there coming over to check my progress. Most complained they couldn't see themselves in the paintings. I was more fascinated, however, by the shadows cast next door by the sign at Augusta's Salon.
