Time to Do Your Art? Time to Do Your Art!

Dear Art Friends,

12 women artists--painters and writers--will come to San Miguel de Allende, MX from all over North America March 29 - April 5, 2020 to participate in my 3rd Annual Art Retreat for Women. I hope you're one of them!

For the 3rd year running, I am renting and entire hotel in the historic Centro district of this colorful, award-winning UNESCO Heritage City. At the charming Casa de la Noche, you'll have a room of your own tastefully decorated with Mexican art by artist-owner Barbara Poole. Each morning you'll be served a delicious homemade breakfast next to a fountain in one of the flower-filled courtyards. During the retreat time, you'll get to explore the many visual, culinary (and shopping) treasures of San Miguel, and most important, you'll have the opportunity to focus on your art--what it is, what it's for and where you would like it to go.

As facilitator, I bring you the wealth of my experience as a successful "late-life" artist, self-published author and spiritual mentor. My aim is to give you access to how your Art wants to evolve and tools for assuring that it does. If you don't consider yourself an artist, but feel a nudge in the direction of writing or art-making, you'll find this a valuable opportunity to explore what your Art might be. You might discover, as I once did, that Art is not necessarily about having recognized talent.

Read what others have said about the Art Retreat for Women by clicking here. You'll see there are different room and pricing options. 6 of the 12 spots are already reserved; there are, however, several of the lower cost options are still available--if your intuition guides you to act quickly, you might claim one of them! By registering now you'll also receive the Early Bird Free Shuttle option from either of the two nearby airports Please act now to bypass your all-too-effective second-guessing apparatus ....

I'm available to answer your questions! Send me an email and, if you want, we can set up a time to talk on the phone. Meanwhile, I'll be in my studio working on my installation project BIRDS FLY IN: A Human Refuge. The painting pictured above is from a new series of large oil paintings on loose canvas that have emerged in the past couple of weeks. Stay tuned to learn more about these exciting and unexpectedly liberated works ....

I hope to hear from you soon!

All my best,

Ellie
